Phrasal Journey is a language-learning app. This policy explains what data is (and isn't) collected when you use it.

What we collect

• We do not collect any personal data ourselves. The app requires no account, and all your learning progress (completed units, streaks, XP, settings) is stored only on your device and never leaves it.

Advertising

The free version of Phrasal Journey shows ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect device information such as:

• Device identifiers (e.g. advertising identifier, if you allow tracking)
• Approximate location derived from IP address
• Ad interaction and diagnostics data

On first launch you will be asked (via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt) whether to allow tracking. If you decline, ads still appear but are not personalized. You can change this anytime in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

Remove Ads purchase

You can permanently remove all ads with a one-time in-app purchase ("Remove Ads"). Payment is processed entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details. After purchase, no ad SDK requests are made. The purchase can be restored on any device signed in with the same Apple ID.

Pronunciation

Text-to-speech pronunciation is produced by Apple's on-device speech engine; no audio or text is sent to us or to any third party.

Children

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are served through Google AdMob in accordance with its policies.
